They are made from 2 mm heavy-duty steel and finished in either a rich Corten rust patina or a sleek matte black powder coat. Every planter is made to order, ships flat-packed in panels, and assembles on site with the hardware provided.

Finish options

Corten steel

Corten is a weathering steel that develops a warm, rust-toned patina outdoors. The color deepens over time as a stable protective layer forms, so no painting or sealing is needed. During the early weathering period, rust-colored runoff can mark light-colored porous surfaces such as pale concrete or stone, so we recommend placing Corten planters on gravel, pavers or a surface you are comfortable with.

Matte black powder coat

A durable matte black finish for a clean, contemporary look that frames greenery and suits modern architecture.

Will Corten planters stain my patio?

While the patina is forming, rust-colored runoff can mark light-colored, porous surfaces. Placing the planters on gravel, pavers or another surface you are comfortable with avoids the issue. Once the patina stabilizes, it becomes the protective surface of the steel.
