Corten steel

Corten is a weathering steel that develops a warm, rust-toned patina outdoors. The color deepens over time as a stable protective layer forms, so no painting or sealing is needed. During the early weathering period, rust-colored runoff can mark light-colored porous surfaces such as pale concrete or stone, so we recommend placing the bench on gravel, pavers or a surface you are comfortable with.
